I have over 12 years’ experience of working in a legal background with a nationwide law firm that specialised in trade union work. There, I trained as a Litigation Assistant and worked with numerous national bodies, including the NHS and local authorities. This involved providing their employees – past and present – with legal advice and guidance on contractual matters in relation to equal pay claims against their employers and attending employment tribunals to represent them.
