I am particularly committed to improving services for the most vulnerable children in our society. I believe that managers and staff can make a real difference to children's lives if they have the right attitudes, have a clear sense of purpose and are properly trained.

I have worked for 40 years in local authority Children’s Services and for the last few years have been project manager for collaborative fostering projects and the National Adoption Service.
